Kerry Katona is an English celebrity who has gained fame for works ranging from television roles, singing, and writing. She was born September 6th, 1980 in Warrington, Cheshire. She was raised partially by her mother, stepfather and four different foster parents. Because of the frequent moves, Katona went to eight different schools before finally dropping out at the age of 16.
Her first job after quitting school was as a lap dancer and then later toured through Europe with a dance troupe. While still in her teens, Kerry Katona posed for nude photos in hopes of becoming a glamour model. After her success, these photos would resurface in 2001.
In 1999, Katona formed the girl group trio "Atomic Kitten". The group was a success and that four singles which reached the top twenty in Britain. After becoming pregnant in 2001 by Brian McFadden of Westlife, Kerry Katona decided to leave "Atomic Kitten". Katona married McFadden and she began to pursue acting. She was in the reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here!" in 2004 and won the competition. Afterwards, she was in another reality show called "My Fair Kerry" and then in a TV drama series called "Showbands". From 2007 to 2009, MTV starred Katona is several reality TV shows which started off with a good following but eventually the public lost interest.
Kerry Katona was constantly appearing in celebrity scandal tabloids. Pictures of her taking cocaine cost Katona an endorsement with Iceland supermarkets. Kerry Katona had another child with McFadden but the couple divorced in 2006. She remarried a taxi driver, Mark Croft, the year after. In 2007, they had a daughter together and later had a son. In July 2007, Katona and Croft claim that they were taken hostage in their home in Cheshire though the allegations are not proven.
